Mooyah is a burger place...yes you can get a hot dog if you like...but you better like burgers, fries, and shakes...or this is probably not the place for you!

Here is the review...Mona and I found Mooyah burgers to be as good as any we have had in the area. They make the burgers thin...and double them up for more flavor. They have lots of topping choices and even offer veggie burgers and turkey burgers for those who do not eat red meat! The fries are good as well...not the very thin fast food fries you usually get. The shakes are thick and delicious. If you are looking for your burger and fries fix...this is the place to go in Katy.

Mooyah is located directly across the street from the Cinco Ranch Jr/Sr High School Campus at 23701 Cinco Ranch Blvd in Katy, TX. They are in a strip center just west of the LaCenterra Mall.

For those of you living in West Houston or Katy, the EZ tag lanes for I-10 are set to open April 18th. The rates will be from $1 to $4 depending on the time of day you choose to use it.

The HOV (high occupancy vehicle) lanes will still be free to those who carpool, if single occupancy drives choose to use the lanes to bypass traffic, they will be chargedaccordingly. Drivers riding with at least one other person still would be able to use the lanes for free in either direction on weekdays from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. However, they would still have to pay a $1 toll at any other time to make the entire trip.

This new change will help ease the traffic during rush hour...and make Katy an even better choice for Energy Corridor or Inner Loop workers!

Katy's latest restaurant opening is Cheddar's casual cafe, a chain restaurant that started in Texas (Arlington) and has quickly spread across the Country. Cheddar's offers a wide variety of lunch and dinner choices...that tends to make it a good place to take the entire family.

The LaCenterra Mall is turning two. on Saturday, March 7th they will be having a party...and everyone is invited. They will have special in-store promotions and from 5pm to 8pm they will have clowns, party hats, balloons, a huge birthday cookie that they will divide up, and music will be performed by La La Wilson & Company. A few lucky guests will leave with presents of their own!
