Seven Lakes High School Garage Sale Date Set

The Annual Seven Lakes Garage sale will be held on Saturday March 28th at Seven Lakes High School. The time for the event will be 7:00am to Noon. If it rains the make-up date will be Saturday April 4th.

Cinco Ranch Swim Teams Sign up Dates

Cinco Ranch I and Cinco II residents can sign up for the swim teams starting March 2nd.

The final registration for Cinco I is at Fielder Elementary on Sunday March 29th from 2-5pm and Saturday April 4th from 10am to Noon.

Cinco Ranch Beach Club is getting a Makeover!

One of the benefits to living in beautiful Cinc Ranch in Katy Texas is that you get to enjoy many different amenities it has to offer, such as  area pools, waterparks, tennis, walking trails, and the Cinco Ranch Beach Club! Not many subdivisions have a Beach Club for their residents! Yes, this one comes with real sand, and a pool with a sand/beach enrty, so it makes you feel like you are at the beach! The Beach Club even has it's own sand Volley-ball court along with a club deck to make the effect more tropical!

The Beach club was built not long after Cinco Ranch began building homes. The lake that joins the pool is used for recreation. There are paddle boats, canoes,  and sail boats available to the residents as well, all of which are part of the beach club.

In keeping with it's very high standard, Cinco Ranch is now going to makeover the beach Club pool. One of the reasons that homes hold their value so well in Cinco Ranch, and why this subdivision is one of the top subdivisions in the country, is how well maintained all of the amenities and grounds are kept. The pool will be drained, cleaned and prepped for re-plastering and crack repairs. All of the lights, drains, tiles, steps, inlets, and outlets will be repaired and/or replaced as well.

The Beach Club is a fun place for friends and family to gather. The kids love to bring all of their beach/sand toys, and have a great time building sand castles all day! The beach volley ball court provides fun and excercise, and of course, there are plenty of places to just relax and take in the sun.

Azzarelli's, the Italian restaurant formally located in Villagio (the retail center on the corner of Westheimer Pkwy and Peek Rd) has moved to 6455 S. Fry Rd, Katy, 77494. It is halfway between the Grand Parkway and Peek Rd in Grand Lakes.

The good news is the new location is more family friendly and still offers the best take-out food special in Houston (3 course dinner for 4 for $35 that probably could feed six). The food at Azzarelli's is quite good and certainly ranks with the finest Italian food in the Katy area.

New "Katy Main Street" Project to Bring More Retail/Office Space to Katy!

The Katy economy keeps rolling along...the newest project to get underway is Katy Main Street, located on the I-10 service road just west of the Katy Mills Mall. They will have thoroughfare roads constructed that will tie-in both the Grand Parkway and FM 1093 into Pin Oak Rd.

 

The developers plan to put in a hotel/convention space, retail space, office space, a high end grocery store (although they will not say who), and Walgreen's has committed to space as well. They will be building Katy Main Street in phases with a second phase set to start in 2010.
